How We Apply for Your Visit Visa
Visit visas in the UAE are sponsored by:
- A UAE resident (family or friend with valid UAE residency)
- A UAE hotel or tourism company
- A UAE-licensed company (for business visit visas)
We apply as the authorized sponsor under our company's license. The process:
- Document submission — passport copy, photo, and travel details
- Online application — submitted via ICP or GDRFA portal
- Approval & visa issuance — electronic visa (e-Visa) emailed directly to you
- Entry — present the e-Visa at UAE port of entry or check with your airline
Standard processing: 2–3 working days Express processing: 24–48 hours (available for most nationalities)
Overstay Penalties
UAE overstay fines apply from the day after visa expiry:
- Standard overstay: AED 50 per day
- After 30 days overstay: additional administrative penalties
- Airport departure fine: calculated and collected at immigration
We send departure reminders to all our visit visa clients and can assist with extensions before overstay begins.
Visit Visa Extension
Visit visas can typically be extended once for 30 days from inside the UAE:
- Apply 10 days before expiry
- Extension fee: approximately AED 600–800
- We manage the extension application on your behalf
For longer stays, switching to a residency visa (investor, employment, or family) may be the better option — we advise on this.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I work on a UAE visit visa? No — a UAE visit visa does not permit employment. Working on a visit visa is a violation of UAE immigration law and can result in deportation and future bans.
My passport has an Israeli stamp — can I get a UAE visit visa? Yes — the UAE normalized relations with Israel in 2020 (Abraham Accords). Israeli passport stamps do not affect UAE visit visa eligibility.
Can I convert my visit visa to a residence visa from inside the UAE? Yes — subject to the relevant residency visa requirements being met. This is called a "status change" and avoids the need to exit the UAE. We manage status changes as part of our employment and investor visa services.
How quickly can you process an urgent visit visa? Express processing is available in 24–48 hours for most nationalities. Contact us directly for same-day urgent requests.
